If you are in Excel Energy's service area in Colorado, you may be eligible to receive rebates and REC's (Renewable Energy Credits) totalling $4.50 per watt for a grid-tied PV (solar electric) system.

Xcel plans to have applications available from that website by 3/1.  Xcel's intent and desire is to start issuing checks within 30 days after final approval of a completed project.

The 30 % federal tax credit is applied to the net cost of your system after any rebate and REC's are deducted.
